No New Posts Southern Air Temple

Once the home of Avatar Aang, the Southern Air Temple is regarded as a cultural phenomenon. It fell into Water Tribe territory after the 100 Year War ended, and is now being used as a boarding school for young non-benders from around the world. Very little has been changed, except that it now has electricity, plumbing, and different furnishings. It is located atop the Patola Mountains and is reached by a winding pathway that was created partially by nature and partially by nature.

No New Posts Northern Air Temple

After Teo's father and his village made this place their home, it was put on the Fire Nation map, and as a consequence, has become a large industrial palace to the modern day world. Some of the original designs by the mechanist survived, but most have been updated so much that they are no longer recognizable. Very few air nomad designs are discernible amongst the smog.

No New Posts Eastern Air Temple

The Eastern Air Temple is not one temple, but three, each atop a mountain and connected by arched bridges. It is surrounded by a cloak of mist from the various rivers and springs that run across the mountainside. It has been largely forgotten by the world, and because of this, has sunken into a state of peaceful entropy. The only thing keeping it from falling apart in some places is hundred-year-old vines.

No New Posts Western Air Temple

The Western Air Temple has remained mostly untouched by the effects of the Equalist revolution, due to its inability to be reached by anyone but an airbender. Its upside down temples once housed an exclusively female population of airbenders, and now serves as a place for passing airbenders to rest and relax on their travels.

Board Description
Air Temples
The Air Temples were once home to a thriving population of airbenders, but after the revolution, they became mere historical artifacts. Each air temple is situated atop a mountain, high in the clouds where the air is the sharpest. Occasionally, passerby's will make camp there for the night, or, as was the case with the Northern Air Temple, stay there for extended periods of time.
